I picked up this beautiful foliage plant while in Victoria on the weekend. Any experience with these shrubs elsewhere in PNW? I like the prostrate form you see on the pic but it is my understanding that, if left alone, they will eventually reach about the same size as the standard Camelias, which is quite large. Therefore IÂd be interested to know whether I should provide a larger site or whether the growth so slow I donÂt have to worry about its ultimate size. I kind of like this combination of Butia (or other palm) overhead with Cleyera at the base.

Fragrant flowers are a bonus with this plant in the spring. It is rated as hardy to Zone 7.
