Beautiful! I'm planning on getting one of the parents of this one this spring (Aganesia cyanea....is acacallis or aganesia the new name for this?) How long do these last?

Have had a baby for a year now but had no idea what it would look like. Glad to see it is so pretty. Could you give us some tips on culture for it?

Pseudobulbs and the entire plant looks like an oncidium. Aparently it has a winter dormant period and then in summer it makes new growth with the emerging big flowers. They are lavenders, with a sweet scent, long lasting (about a month) and very big (about 3 in) for the plant size). I bought it from EOM.
