I posted this on the fig forum but things seem slow there now, so I'm trying here.

I'm in SW Washington. We planted a fig (Peter's Honey) this past summer -- and although I know better, somehow I planted it too close to some shrubs and want to move it out a bit while it's dormant and before it gets bigger next year. What's the best time of year to move it? We'd like to do it soon (we've had a break from the rain and I'd like to get it done before it returns) -- I figure we're ok but would like confirmation/correction.
