The normal coverage of CGM is 20 lbs. per 1,000 Sq. Ft. of lawm. Your bag will cover 2,000 Sq. Ft. or roughly an area 45' X 45' if you are using it as a preemergent for weed control. I buy 50 lb. bags for $17.95 and onr bag does my 50' X 50' front yard and a second bag does my multi-level back yard.
