What a mother's day present. Sorry. On the flip side, when I go out to mow the grass my wife acts like I'm leaving her alone with the kids to go bar hopping or something. Then she gets irritated because she has to wait on me to come in and eat supper. In 7 years she has helped me pull weeds for 30 minutes. I guess it's nice i can do it how I want to, but it's ALL me, and she complains that the outside looks nicer than the inside and she doesn't live outside, I reply, "our neighbors can't see in our house." LOL

Poor you, Bonnie. On the up side, there are thousands of websites you can show hubby to prove your point, beginning with the Colorado State University Cooperative Extension Service. Surely, he won't dispute every single article written by experts who not only have been cutting grass all their lives, but have grown grass, studied, tested, and experimented with grass, and took each other's advice as well. Or, is he really that narcissistic LOL? Doing something your whole life has nothing to do with knowing how to do it, as I'm sure a dentist or hygienist could show him the way he brushes his teeth is completely wrong.

Well, he was raised in the humid south and cutting the grass that short here, where the humidity is nonexistant, will just make us have to water the grass even more.

Only centipede and bermuda should be mowed low in the south. He probably had a deeply ingrained fungus problem.
