Something's missing - Where are all the holes in your hosta leaves? lol What are you putting around them and when do you apply it? They really look healthy. I always get a few holes from slugs and blister beetles do even more damage some years.

I agree with christie. Mine look so bad that I never show them to anybody. Plus they are getting too much sun now. Thank you ice storm.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I try to go out into my garden once a day to just stroll around. Here's how I take care of slugs. In the spring, just as my hostas are peaking out, I put down slug killer pellets and spray the crowns with a 10% bleach solution. Around July 1, I repeat it if necessary.

But, do you sit down? I try to and then I see something that needs a pinch or a tweak of some kind and I am up again.

I said bleach, I meant ammonia.

never heard of 10 percent ammonia on leaves. can you spray all plants with it? does it just keep bugs away.

i am so tired of this cold winter. it was nice and sunny and a high 50 yesterday. about time. i have gained weight and am quite unhappy with this new development--weight gain. gourd? teapot?

The red, blue, and yellow things are a variety of smiling faces I found over the years. They were gray, and started pealing, so I painted them . I thought the bright colors contrasted the stark white of the chairs.
