In case you don't find anyone, there are several options available to you.

You might want to look into exactly which variety of beefsteak tomato you might be interested in. Beefsteak is a common name referencing large varieties of tomato which include the following:
* Beefmaster VFN (a popular hybrid beefsteak commonly found at garden centers)
* Beefsteak VFN
* Big Beef
* Brandywine (a pink heirloom variety)
* Bucking Bronco
* Cherokee Purple a dusky red/purple beefsteak, said to have exceptional flavor (And I agree.)
* Marmande
* Mortgage Lifter (another popular heirloom tomato)
* Pink Beefsteak
* Coeur De Boeuf

* Steinert's Greenhouse & Gardens in Springfield usually carries a selection of heirloom tomatoes. Cherokee Purple (the best for flavor as I'm concerned) has become fairly common to find for sale at various nurseries.

* There are usually a few growers who sell heirloom vegetable plant starts at the Greater Springfield Farmers' Market which begins it's warm season April 11.

* But in my opinion, the absolute best place to go is to the Baker Creek's 9th Annual Spring Planting Festival. Baker Creek is the largest heirloom seed company in the world and they are practically in our backyard, just 45 minutes away from Springfield. They have dozens of vendors specializing in growing heirlooms of all vegetable varieties for sale. If you're a gardener and you've never been, this is a MUST.

Wow...that festival looks really cool. I bought some roses from Steinert's last year and was so impressed, I will definitely be visiting them this year.
