I was concerned about this also, but mine have sprouted upward finally with the warmer weather. They at first appeared to be stunted but as the days warmed up, they are looking more normal.

My Daffodils! They are only 3" tall and the bloom is 1", you can barely see them unless you are specifically looking for them! This is in my flower bed here at home in NW Arkansas.

That's interesting.....mine look normal. In fact, my granddaughter picked a small bouquet of my first ones yesterday.

I planted lots of different varieties last year, doubles, split cups, pinks.....then I read a post saying these usually don't last long! I am keeping my fingers crossed before I order more this fall.

I have some up normal size in front of the trailer my brother lives in and across the road by a pasture fence are a bunch of "shorties" Verrrry interesting.

Mine are normal and all the ones I've seen on the road and in other peoples yards look normal too. They're blooming happily along! Nancy

The daffys are looking more normal now. The trout lilys still look odd.... the flowers are passing their prime before the foliage catches up. Seems like they used to stand up on their little stems more. The trout lily foliage is looking more normal sized tho. If it had been a hard winter, the shorties wouldn't have seemed so odd.
