This cross has many different clones and they vary considerably. With such a name you would expect it to be yes, yellow, however. If you are willing to do a bit of detective work you may be able to get back to the original grower,though, who should be able to help. Start by asking at the place you bought it. I don't know what consumer law in USA is like but in UK you would be able to ask for a refund. One is always reluctant to do this of course.
