Two weeks and no responses ? Well OK. I donÂt know of any national brands of bagged fine compost. Most bagged stuff is made and packaged regionally and varies in quality from sandy, rocky, clumpy junk to pretty good composted cow manure. The best compost is that which you make yourself. You can screen it if you need fine texture. Spreading compost, although very good for lawn and gardens, gets to be pretty expensive and there are other alternatives depending on what you are trying to accomplish.
