Spiranthes cernua var. odorata

Finally in full bloom, about at normal time - mid-October. It really does have a nice fragrance, sort of baby powder with a little spice added.

In SOCAL definitely in a pot , much too dry here for it. It sits in a tray of water.

Nick - Do you know how hardy these are? As in, will they survive outside year round in Zone 5?

This one is in a pot, but it would grow outdoors even here in Zone 4.They are locally common in a lot of Zone 5, for instance where I originally come from in Indiana.
