Mine too Glenda, finally. And I have a regular hydrangea that has been in the ground on the north side of my house for over 20 years and never had more than 2-3 blooms in any year. This year it has more than 20. The difference? More light since last year's ice storm pruned the trees so severely and more water--72 inches last year. Nothing else changed. I haven't wasted fertilizer on it for years.

You're going to be glad you didn't dig it up Glenda. I love hydrangeas. I haven't looked at mine lately to see if they have buds yet. When we went to my parents' for Mother's Day, I noticed they have a lot of buds on theirs.
