The peonies here are done (at least in our yard)and seed pods are starting. Has anyone tried growing them from seed and can you share the experience? I did a search on this question and it seems they are tricky to get rooted and a few years before flowering....sounds to me they are a good candidate for winter sowing so will post the same question there....

I'm a patient person and would love the challenge but would appreciate any pointers from those who have tried....
