They are cute. I have never grown them. I bought several different sunflower seeds...........have none planted yet and it is probably too late. There is always next year!

Those are cute. I planted some ordinary sunflower seeds in peat pots a while ago. I need to stick them in the ground somewhere and it could be anywhere because they will grow in poor rocky soil and stand drought. Glenda I don't think it is too late to plant them. They take the heat well.

I havent planted my sunflowers yet either (a couple volunteers are doing well though). I had also decided it was to late...thanks to you Helen, I think I'll plant some tomorrow. There are several kinds I've not planted before so hope they do well.

Ooo, those are gorgeous. Sunflowers are so easy to grow too. I think I'll look for some seeds and get them in the ground.
