I would like to plant passiflora. My understanding is the Passiflora mixta is a species native to Andean regions of Colombia at my altitude of 7000´. I also understand that here in Colombia it is pollinated by the Sword-billed hummingbird and that is who I wish to attract. A greenhouse owner here said he could get me some but never came through. Is there any source in the US from which I could order seed of that species online so I could bring them back with me when I return my spring trip north? I read with interest the post below on germanating from seed.
