passion flower after mealy bugs

i had bought a passion flower and was really excited to see all the new growth and green about 3 weeks ago, and then started noticing that the plants leaves and ends were withering and dying

upon closer inspection i found out i had a mealybug infestation... the pink mealybugs. well i've throughly washed plant off and for the life of me i cant find anymore.. so i was just wondering how long until ill see new life.

if anyone out there has had a mealybug problem and how long till your plant sprung back. the plant is about 2 years old with alot of vines, there are still some leaves on it and i can see tiny leaves on the stems greening looking like they want to grow... i pruned back all the dead ends

so just wondering how long?
