Put it in the ground and I bet it recovers. Putting it in the ground should moderate soil moisture/dryness which could be the problem. Usually with bud rot, the fronds don't die off one by one. Usually, they all start to fold up and then droop, and afterwards will become yellow or brown. Your new fronds look fine, but the pot it's in looks too small and I see exposed roots.

in florida Like most palms they need a lot of sun They can make great pot plants if that's your choice gary

Yea I put him in the ground and the decline stopped thanks I found a good sunny spot I was trying to wait for this cold snap to go away. We are supposed to have another cold snap here this week but these are pretty hardy. I have a coconut and a Christmas palm in my yard and they do wonderful I need to protect them probably 2 times a year. Thank you both for your advice I followed it and the issue is corrected.
