Is Anyone Here close to Jonesboro, Ark?

I am looking for new friends who live close to Jonesboro, maybe within an hour or so. I am an hour North of Memphis.

This time of year, I thin out my plants and compost a lot of them. If any of you out there live close enough to drive over, I could fill your trunk. I have lots of easy to grow starter plants. Check out my post on the Plant Exchange Forum:

http://forums2.gardenweb.com/forums/load/explant/msg0915230532705.html?7

A few things, as noted, are for special trades. The rest are for trade for Roundup, Miracle Grow and Preen.

My gardens have grown so well that I have no room for all the new daylilies I've acquired this year. I need to make room. I'd love to find someone near enough who could frequently cart off any plants I'm thinning out. I have a couple of friends in town who have all taken their fill. And I've given a lot away in our Freecycle Group. But still I have too much.

So are there anymore GWers out there near Jonesboro?

I guess no one lives close enough. I'll mix up some roundup.

    Nancy,
I'm just down here in Little Rock and my mom lives in J'boro.
Don't mix that roundup just yet.
Are you giving away, or do I need something to trade for your cast offs?
We have a new house with no plantings so far and are always looking for freebies.
Any chance of us meeting up?

Hi Happy, I'm looking forward to meeting you and your wife on Sat. Thank you so much for contacting me. I'll see if GardenerGail can come over too so you can meet her as well. She's a hoot! See ya soon!

Hey Will, Gail and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you and Kimberly Sat. I had fun sharing my plants with such eager and appreciative people. I wish you could have stayed longer, but I know y'all were eager to get home and start designing and planting.

Next time you come to visit your mom, you'll have to drop by and say hi. Bring your mom next time. I might have something she wants.

Have fun planting everything, and come and visit again soon! I'm so glad we met. You and Kimberly are an adorable couple!

I just wanted to let everyone know how fun and nice NancyAnn is.
She let us come to her house and wade through and pillage her fantastic collection of plants this weekend.
I've never seen so many different kinds of plants in one place. It was wonderful.
NancyAnn and Gail are both a couple of fantistic ladies. (Fat D*** B******!) LOL 0_o

We left there with a truck load of plants. Names for all of them, though we probably won't remember them all. (What the he** is this?)

The wife and I spent all day Saturday and Sunday digging and planting and digging and planting and moving things around.
I really can't wait for spring to arrive so I can see all the beautiful things NancyAnn gave to us.

    She really knows her stuff.
I'd be happy to trade with her anyday.

    THANKS BUNCHES!!!!!

Well, Will and Kim, I sure did enjoy meeting you both and told Nancy that I wouldn't mind seeing y'all a lot more often! What fun you guys are!

Nancy is always looking for someone to take her extras, and it's SO much better when it's someone NICE who APPRECIATES her generosity. She had another friend from NW AR stop by today and they left with their van loaded, too! And she was still trying to give them more as they were leaving, but they didn't have ANY more room!!

Tell Nancy to let me know next time you're coming this way so we can get together again!

Hey Nancy maybe your friend from NW AR can pick me up and bring me with! Sure sounds like I missed out! I live in Northwest Arkansas just south of Fayetteville. Not sure how far away that is! Sure would like to know what kinds of daylillies you made room for as I have over 200 cultivars! I have almost 300 TB Iris as well. I'm in dire need of some nice perennials to put between my daylillies and Iris tho!
