Multi Trunk Palms

Hello. I have a question regarding multi trunk palms (christmas, foxtail, etc.). If I were to try and grow a 3 in 1 pot Christmas Palm, would I put all three seeds in one pot, all three seedlings in one pot, or would I wait until they were a little bigger before combining them? I tried a google search as well as a search of this forum and could not find anything.

On another note, I see that many palms want a mix of sphagnum peat moss, perlite or vermiculite, and sand. What kind of sand are we talking about here? Is it sand from the beach, regular Florida top soil(haha), or sand that you would buy from Lowes or Home Depot in the construction department?

As always thanks again for any responses.
