I had a volunteer passion flower vine appear in my backyard last year. As soon as I realized what it was, I fenced it in to protect it from the dogs. It flowered and fruited beautifully and was a buffet for lots of caterpillars.

I'm in zone 7 and haven't seen the first sign of it coming back this spring. When does it usually sprout? Should I give up and buy one from the store?
