I know for me I will be looking over so much more than flowers.
That was my main thing before. How ever now I will be doing so much research on veggie crops and the best way combined for this area.

I got Pinetree yesterday too. I don't think I've ever ordered from them. Their address says New Gloucester, ME. That's Maine right? Do you think it's better to not order seeds from so far north?

christie, I have ordered seeds from them before. I can't remember if it was just flowers or not. What I liked was that the seed packets were smaller. Who needs 1000 snaps?

I don't know yet if I will order anything or not, but may. I never do real exotic types anyway. I know my sis in Ia. orders from them from time to time.

I'm so jealous--seems everyone is getting seed catalogs , but me. I'm still looking at the spring ones I'd saved.

I am jealous, too, because I have only received Parks catalog. Maybe mine will come soon. I, too, am left with last years catalogs.

Pinetree came yesterday (Saturday)

A couple people in the perennials forum said they got a Stokes Seed catalog. I haven't gotten that one yet and don't remember getting it last year so I went to their website and ordered one. They have the Genovese Basil that I want to try.
I'm always tempted by the exotic veggies but don't usually order them. lol It would be nice to be able to try them all first so a person would know whether to bother. Stokes has a lot of Asian veggies I'd never heard of. Here's their page of those.

I got my Prairie Moon Nursery catalog today.
Very nice. I really like the tables to let you know the best time ofr the natural seed to be sown.
Grandson and I have been spending the better part of an hour just looking a the "owers" and "utter eyes".
Still no Parks or Pinetree.
An only one more day of the post to run before the holiday, have my fingers crossed.
