I have to tell an embarrassing story on both DH and me.
I could vaguely recall buying a tube feeder last year....but sent him out to check the smoke house where we keep them over summer. He came back and said nothing is out there, so off to Lowes we went.

I went out yesterday to get something and there hanging right by the door was my last year's new feeder, much heavier and fancier than this one we bought!

I have no idea what he was looking for! Anyway, it has adjustable openings so I think I will retire the one the squirrels have chewed up with it. He cleaned it good yesterday and when it dried we put it on the Elm tree.

I remembered your new feeder from last year. That sounds like something that would happen at my house; here it is only I to blame. What a nice husband to wash it for you.

You have really clean windows.

I took down the inside screen and washed them because they were so spattered with the sink that I didn't want anyone to see them! We don't use the screen in winter; kitchen is much lighter and I can take pics this way.

helen, the Birds and all that entails are his! He cleans the hummingbird feeders too; he is very particular with them and uses bleach regularly.

My finch feeder is like yours Glenda. You can turn the ports so they have to get the seed through a little slit or turn it the other way so it makes a cup like yours is in the photo. My feeder wasn't being used when there was just a slit so I turned it to the bigger opening.
I take the screens out of my bay window so we'll have a clearer view.
