Cool! Thanks!

Ya I was gonna say "Go see Myles' site".. But he beat me to it.

There is a FAQ! I posted one myself here years ago but much to my disappointment it's never shown up on this page. Only in the general gardenweb FAQs page. I don't know what to do, but here's the link:

In general I've found once they sprout, water 'em when they get dry, pay attention to their (whatever particular variety you have) heat & cold requirements, and leave 'em alone.
If I baby them, they die. If I put the water on a time & forget about them they take over the place. People who visit always comment "WOW! This place is a Jungle!" So it appears to me that "nothing" is how to "do it right".

Germination is a whole different beast tho.. I've tried everything from 'nothing just plant & wait' to soaking in various juices / fluids, keeping them warm with a heat mat, or not, putting said heat mat on a timer so there's a warm / cool cycle... Everything I can think of save doing the voodoo germination dance with some toad sweat & a puffer-fish... I have no idea what works or not. Sometimes they sprout in 2 weeks, sometimes a year and a half later something comes up and by that time whatever it's name was has worn off the tag. So for that I dunno what to tell you, except that your mileage may vary.

Have fun.
