First cut the pod open and take the seeds away from the pulp, also the pulp tastes like fruit punch if you want to eat it, after you get the seeds out soak them in warm water for about an hour, then plant them in a warm semi-sunny area and they should start to grow in about a week or two!

I did as you said and just planted all the seeds in a row container about 4' long.
I'll watch them and as they come up I'll monitor them and plant in the ground as they grow.
All the seeds were light tan in color, not dark, is that a problem?

all the seeds that I have planted were dark blue to black, when you soaked them in the water did they float? If they didnt it should not be a problem. I planted seeds two days ago and I will tell you when mine come up.

Did you pick the fruit or did it fall off the vine? Ripe fruits will usually drop off. Light tan colored seeds are usually not mature. They should be dark brown to almost black when mature. I guess if they don't sprout, then they were not mature enough.

All but one floated, but I planted them all. I pulled the seed pod off only because I had planned several times to collect a pod but after they fall or the animals get them I can't find any on the ground.
I'm watching everyday for a pod.
