If you had two darker blue solid pillows with the one bright blue you could use the bright blue as your accent color. I'd bring in more blue in a small rug and decorative drapery panels, which could be just for show and keep the texture sheers you currently have.

Lovely! I think for pillows, I would stick with Plain Creamy, and plain gray. For the furniture piece, I would look into an Expedit Bookcase from IKEA for Functionality, or some open style bookcases, like these

You need punch in your curtains. Maybe an iKat or greek key pattern. Get a more colorful throw maybe in a rust or red. consider a coffee table and a rug. The Ikea zig zag rug would do well and maybe a console in wood on that wall with a mirror or picture above it. I would look to put a side table with a lamp. You need color in the room to break up the grey.

Glass and silver shelving (eteger?) on the side....and add pops of ORANGE!

How about putting the couch at an angle in the corner and add a sofa table behind it with a floral display or a tall lamp? I would also add a rug at an angle too, in front of the couch, to ground the chair and couch together. I hung a large chandelier behind my bed that is at an angle in the corner of the bedroom and it looks FANTASTIC.

Great start to a wonderful space aareeda! I think you should replace the curtains with a darker shade, another trick is to add a dark sheer over the light drapes, looks really chic. You can add an etagere to the right side I suggest something mid tondark finish too. There is a pretty shelf in the black and white the right as well. Floating shelves or a gorgeous mirror on the wall. Art would do the trick as well. Good luck!!

Hi Aareeda! Great room! Have you ever thought about centering your couch on the wall to the right (not sure if you have enough room to do that)? If there's not enough room how about switching your grey and cream chair and ottoman with the sofa...so the sofa will be centered with the window. You know you can incorporate pretty much any color with grey...I love grey and it's in every room of my house, but I change the colors that are with it in each room. Have you thought about getting different color curtains, maybe something with a print? Credenzas are wonderful...great for storage and you can always put some wonderful decorative pieces on top (like your mirror). I'm building one right now...so exciting!! What about a floor lamp and an area rug? You can make your own art with stencils and frame it...something I plan on doing as well.
