Sago are flushing! Finally!

Now I'm really excited. I bought Cycas revoluta (sago palm), exactly a year ago, I planted it in a pot and it has since been in it. It's out for summer and I will bring it inside for the winter. In winter it is under the light. Nothing has happened throughout the year. It has been like it is dead, but green and healthy. Today I noticed that the new growth begins to appear. Finally! Really exciting.

Hey

If u want it to keep shooting out new fronds I would suggest using
Seasol liquid fertiliser every 2-4weeks and also sprinkle osmocot pallets around the pot.

Mine sprung out 6 new shoots in less then a year. And I have them outside(part shade) under a palm winter through to summer and it's doing great

One day has been an increase. I take a picture from the plant every day at the same time. Nice to keep track of growth.
Thanks for the advice, georgio. May I ask you, what is osmocot? I live in Finland and here we donÃÂ´t have it. I have used a liquid fertilizer with micro-nutrients are included. I use also sometimes UCG, egg shells and dried banana leaves, which I have made a fertilizer. Apparently, it has helped, because it is flush now.
