Question about new bulb purchase

Hello my fellow plumerians! I bought a bulb last night while grocery shopping and since I don't know that much about them I would like some input.

Since I can't get nothing fancy or high-end, I got a 2700 lumens 150 watt cfl bulb. I know you're suppose to have 4000-5000 lumens for a light so what I was wanting to know will my plants (ahem cuttings!) benefit anything from that amount of lumens? I can only have 1 light fixture with that wattage as I don't want to raise the light bill. The color temp I think says warm/2700k.

Any feedback is appreciated. :)

That 2700 kelvin value is said to promote flowering. But it should be OK. I have 6400k lights which are said to promote leaf growth and several of the cuttings produced flowering inflos over the winter so who knows. Light energy falls off at a geometric ratio so the closer you can get the lights to the plants, the better it is. The CFL's don't put off a lot of heat so they could be as close as an inch with no problem.
