We call them citrus pots here in Florida. You have the 4 inch, that are 12 inches deep, and the 6 inch ones are like 19 inches deep. I start singles on the 4 inch and then about 3 years I put them up into 6s. Then they go into 15 gallon pots. The best thing is you can put 9 of the 4s into a milk crate to carry around, and 4 of the 6s go into the same crate. They don't stand up on their own, so this helps a lot. Both are sold by Stewe, who is out of Oregon. Love their products! There are also smaller starter pots that are about 2 inches square by 9 inches deep that are really hard plastic and can be used over and over again, and those are called Anderson bands. They are also around Oregon, but others are selling their products in different parts of the country. These, to me are rather expensive, like 89 cents each. I'm using Better Plastics bands, they are more like 10 cents each, but only 6 inches deep which is a bit shallow for things like big Encephalartos, but great for Zamias and Ceratozamias.
