Steve, you attached a fact sheet on the diseases of cucurbits. Salmonberry is a bramble. While certainly not impossible that they share certain disorders, it would not be the first place I would look.

I have some of this on my salmonberry too.

But I'm sure by now you've already discovered that salmonberry age,and their leaves die after a year around fall.

But come back in the spring with lush growth.

Don't be worried, salmonberry are very hardy plants.
