Just a hint about some of those insect PEST eggs. Most pest species will lay their eggs where the larva or nymph will be able to feed right away. In the case of cuke beetles, the eggs will be deposited on the plant itself.

Anyway, I've attached a picture of lightning bug eggs. I don't know if this is what you have, but you can compare.

bugs are so fasinating right! i love them. lets protect them cuz they gave us life like bees and worms. so lets give them something in return by protecting them they are fasinating not gross!
