It really depends. Cuttings with tips (not center cuts) of any variety can push out inflos as early as while they're still rooting. You could get flowers this season if you're lucky. The two to three years for flowers has to do with seedlings, not cuttings.

You may likely see some inflos this year on DSP but if it was another variety, I wouldnt bet on it. This variety is quite floriferous and even small plants at barely 1 foot can bloom profusely. I will post a pic of some of mines when I get home.

Edit: I assume you meant Dwarf Singapore Pink. What variety exactly are you referring to?

I think you stand a good chance of seeing it bloom this year considering it has 5 chances. Musaboru is right about it being a profuse bloomer. Mine is maybe 3 feet tall with about 80 tips and blooms June to December.

Here are two of mines from today. The inflos are from last year. There were more inflos though that fell off over winter. These were severely neglected for the past 6 months while I was away so they are not at the best looking potential. Even the smaller plant has an inflo hanging on from last year.

Thank you for the info!! Mine is much smaller so I wont hold my breath for flowers this year. The 2 on the outside are DSP and the one in the center is a Singapore White. This was taken just after I received them in the mail, so the leaves are still a bit discombobulated.

@ Musaboru - is that a ceramic pot I see? In my heat, my roots were frying in ceramic pots on concrete. You may want to take that in to consideration if you get heat.
