i dont see any damage to the flower... so i would think.. hey.. they just dont migrate around.. pooping.. so the next thing i wonder about... is.. could it be from your pollinator ???

now that i reread... i see black dots... you confuse me in saying the are like yellow couscous ...??? ... could they be part of the flower itself ...

The tiny yellow couscous like cluster is what I'm asking about. I've never seen that before. There should only be a pollen covered pistil in the flower.

Don't know why the petals are rolled up. Maybe it was starting to close.

The little black dots on the flowers are the gnats? I keep seeing.

I have had quite the battles with pickle worms this year and they leave a yellow frass with a foul smell but there is a hole in the side of the flower then they invade.....they like getting in before it blooms.
