I've been reading and rereading that thread plus one of the adeniums that you lifted. Maybe I can tackle mine after I find just the right pot and the time to get it done. Your posts are always so helpful!

I tried to scooch the frog over to the plumeria area but he jumped back on the ponytail. We shall let him pick his own hangout, huh? LOL

One more thing, Laura. The ponytail is in a 10 inch pot. Should I go up to just a 12 inch?

I love ponytail palms, there are at least 12 growing in the yard. I have one about the size of Lauras over by the fence that bloomed last year!! The big ones have never bloomed. Mom gave me hers because noone could move it, I planted it in the ground, the base is over 5` around and it is over 10` tall. I know she had it 25 years before giving it to me about 8 years ago. My other big one is not quite as large and is one of those huge old metal wash tubs and is going in the ground next week, it is too big for any pot I can afford or move. I bought it when I was 21 and it was about 5 years old so it is 39 years old. It got broken off about 20 years ago and has a fantastic multi-head now.
They are tough, mine all sat in 4` of salt water for over 24 hours and didn`t even blink.

Love the frog!! I really got a chuckle when you moved him and he wanted to stay on the PT instead.. They are stubborn at times ;-) Let him decide!! LOL...

Moving your PT to the 12 inch sounds great and i would do the same. This way the Caudex can be seen better when you repot and lift. I can't wait to see the finished look!!

I cant wait to see her in the new container!!! She sure is a beauty!!
