Make sure the potting mix is free draining, keep it moist and not soggy, give the plant good strong light, and don't let it get chilled. Whenever you repot give it slow release fertiliser.

They are pretty easy indoor plants. That's a Parlor Palm. Keep them away from any heaters and make sure you keep it well watered. They like good draining soil but do not like drying out. It will likely need to get repotted in a few more months.

Also, watch out for spider mites. You'll have to spray with a mix of water, a little soap, and a little neem oil if you want to get rid of spider mites easily and in a non-toxic way. Mine has gotten spider mites numerous times in the past because Parlor palms are prone to them, but if you catch them relatively quickly, they will not do any damage to your plant. Other than spider mites, these palms are one of the easiest indoor palms you can grow.
