last year i put almost all of my plants outside just in time for hail!!!!
this year i am putting stuff all over the place like friends gardens this and that side of the house ect...
as for you .... pails .. cut of the bottom and push em in the dirt around you plants and they will fend off the wind .
I also leave the bottom on and just poke holes so if hail hits they dont get it.
hang in there you will get peppers yet.

I had the same problem. I transplanted mine out this weekend to very strong winds. It was made worse for me by 100+ degree temperatures. The combination seems to be decimating my crop :-(

You need to support them somehow. Try the pail idea above, or bamboo stakes with loose ties, or chicken wire cages around the plant, etc. Once the plants are established and a little bigger/stronger you shouldn't have a problem

Wind can be a problem with seedlings and small plants. Can cause twisted, curled leaves that many misinterpret to be disease. Some sort of windbreak is all I can suggest. Time should heal.

Small chickenwire or field fencing cages with plastic wrapped around would help. I find field fencing cages to be better than stakes anyways.

Yeap, I had 70mph winds 2 years ago and amazingly the bamboo stakes didn't snap, bend or break. The tomatoes/peppers held onto it like no tomorrow and survived.

As far as hail and what you can do. Try a big tarp. One of those thick blue roof tarps. Cover them when you think they'll be in danger.
