Plumeria pudica leaf drop

Hello fellow plumeria enthusiasts! I have a dilemma! My Plumeria pudica has finally bloomed for the first time but unfortunately this has been accompanied by a severe leaf drop! Most of the lower leaves have fallen off but the flowers still keep coming. It was repotted in the fall out of necessity and I used a good all-purpose potting soil with tons of perlite mixed in. Any ideas what could be giving the leaf drop? It's in nearly full sun, gets watered when it dries out / nearly dries out, and the temps have been high 70's at night up into the 100's during the day. Maybe too much heat, not enough water? The leaves have also changed -- older leaves were wrinkly and thick and now the newer leaves are very thin and not wrinkly. All my plumeria rubra are doing great ... well sorry about the long post! Here are photos ...

Are you using any fertilizer? Could you possibly have mites? Those are the 2 things that come to mind, maybe someone else can chime in with more experience with this variety.

Same thing happened to my Charlotte Ebert and Divine! I was told not to water until it nearly dries out and since I couldn't tell I just played it safe and didn't water for 7-10 days each time. Someone told me when you think you need to water, wait another 3 days. Ok so I did. Well it turned out those two needed more water than the rest! I found this out quite by accident. So now I water those two plants every other day and they are no longer yellow, droopy or dropping leaves!

Now I don't know if that's your diagnosis too... and since I'm still learning I don't know why yours are droopy either. I'm just sharing my experience. Heck I still can't tell when the soil is dry!
