Yes, had our first frost yesterday morning and again this morning. Both must have been pretty light because bananas, cannas and elephant ears seem mostly unaffected. The only damage I noticed was on 1 leaf of one of my elephant ears. Everything else, including flowers, seem fine. The coldest I'm aware of that we got was 30.

No frost yet! I still have a lot of plants out. My biggest plumeria and all my potted palms (including my Adondila) saw the cold this morning, but nothing was damaged. Hopefully the weather warms back up for a while so I have more time to bring everything in!

Light frost last two nights. Tonight's low is 28F so I am expecting for everything to be dead in the morning.

We got frost last night. Our elephant ears got hit pretty bad. All my potted palms are still outside but no damage to them. There was frost on my washy, pindo and trachy. They were not affected.

I am in the Greater, NJ/NYC heat island ('banana belt'). So, no frost on plants but, yes, on the car. I also exploit my grove of Eastern Hemlocks as a microclimate. The containerized palms in there are still safe. Coconuts and Hyophorbe are inside now though. Usually, I can leave the rest out (Queens, Phoenix, Washingtonia, and Butia till early December. Getting drier by the day though on Long Island and NYC Metro. Using the lawn sprinklers tomorrow.

No frost yet in my yard, but it was definitely a close one this morning! Looks like we are in the clear for a little bit longer at least, but it was the end of the growing season for a lot of people in the eastern part of the country last night!
