What do I have growing?!

So, I need help identifying what I have growing in my garden... I know, crazy. Obviously I should have a much tighter grasp of what's going on...

Attached is the photo of the plant that I think/thought was a hot hungarian wax pepper. Background: I saved seeds from a pepper last year. The seeds had a tough time germinating in peat pods this year, so I direct sowed some outdoors in a pot, and then transplanted one of the plants to the garden. The seedling looked right, but now I question what I have.

So, do I have some sort of pepper mixed-breed? A true hungarian wax pepper? Did I transplant a weed?

Help!
