It's just beautiful. You did a lot of work, I'm sure. How "old" is your meadow?

I am impressed. I wish I could clone you and bring your double to help me in New York. I wish this look was more popular than standard turf lawns.

Thank you for your kind comments. Its about 4 years old now, and is finally close to being fully filled in. I bought and raked in a pound of wildflower seeds, hopefully some will take, so far the grass has taken better than wildflowers, except for indian blanket, which has done fairly well. I'm in a rural subdivision which has no HOA fortunately. When my 'edge' trees grow more, I hope to not see any of my neighbors.

Gary, Your meadow is an inspiration. This is what I want to create in my 1/2 acre. Currently it is in a thick lawn grass. I neighbor a meadow and would like to let that creep into my yard. Don't know if I should just let the lawn grow up along the edge to facilitate the transition... or do I need to kill the grass, dig up the ground, and start my own meadow from scratch... don't really want to do such a drastic approach though. Your thoughts?
