I'd leave tissue culture alone. It's easier to take a cutting and get the same plant. There is no market for it!
It's already being done and you are lucky to have someone buy one plant. What good are a hundred plants when only a couple will be sufficient.
This is a dumb ass idea for a workshop.

First, you can't take a cutting of a banana. Second, there's plenty market for it. Lots of people I know cannot keep up with the demand. Third, it's already being done. True, I've been doing it for thirty years. I think the only dumb thing here is that reply.

I think it would be fascinating to attend, if only I had the time and the money. Tissue culture has lots of advantages.
