When you bought it at the flower show and it was a cutting did it have those leaves on it? When I start a cutting I cut all of the leaves off so the cutting will root easier. Please let me know if it had the leaves as a cutting because then I would tell you to cut them off and not to water until you got leaves again. Barb

If you're just starting out rooting that one, the larger leaves should be cut off.
If you don't cut them they will just help dehydrate the cutting (not good) and will probably just fall off anyway before you have roots.

It's good to leave a little .5" stub of the leaf stalk so it will slowly dry out and will fall off in about a week or so.

When the small leaves coming directly out of the tip start growing and look like the ones you cut off (about 4") you should have some roots by then and can water sparingly at that time.

Was it rooted or unrooted when you bought it? How long have you had it in the pot?

It was unrooted when I bought it . The flower show was in April so it's been in that pot for about 3 to 3 1/2 months

It's most likely rooted then. Sometimes plumeria just get a bad leaf when they first start putting out leaves. The other leaves look good. You should be fine.
