I did a search and found the methods that had been suggested in the past here on GW. Most were fairly specific. If none of those methods of propagation have worked for you then try the only remaining one not mentioned so far...layering. I will attempt rooting it for my own interest. Will try new growth, last year's growth and heel cuttings plus toothpick technique,
