Hey everyone!

I have a strawberry plant that sent out 1 runner which has touched soil and already rooting two daughter plants. And even though both plants are on one runner and both are only displaying one small tri-leaves, it is trying to send out another stolon for another small plant.

That's three plants from the same runner. I was told that I should only let one plant form per runner. Is this true?
