I recently took 2 cuttings of my Musical Note Plant (Rotheca incisa). I put one in a potting soil mixture and one in a glass of water. The potting mixture one seems rooted, but isn't doing much otherwise. The one is water is starting to grow some roots (they're just little buds at this point), but I've noticed that in addition to putting out a few new leaves, it has started a couple of flower buds.

What should I do with these flower buds? Should I pinch them off? Should I let them flower? My understanding is that flowers require a lot of plant energy that I'd rather go into root establishment...
