Mary Moragne Finally Opened!!!!

Hello Everyone!!!

I just came home to a wonderful surprise this evening... ;-)

Early last year, there was a thread on Mary Moragne' s and the different look of everyone's Mary... I searched that thread to look at my pic verses the others posted. My bloom resembles Bills in his heat pic... This Mary seems to have many looks and mine has the same similarities as some listed on the forum.

I just went outside to take another sniff of my bloom... Can't smell anything!!
But.. It has more blooms that will open tomorrow and I will check again!!!

Hi Laura,
it looks very nice. Today Paula brought a Mary Moragne flower to the PSA board meeting. It did not look anything like yours. The flower was bigger, it had more petal overlap, and it had only pink and white in it, no yellow. Also, the petals shape were completely different from yours. I know weather can change the colors but not like that. It changes the saturation of the colors but it does not change the colors themselves. One of the two is not a Mary Moragne. I just looked at Kukiat's flickr set. His is pink and white with an orange center (like Paula's). Where did you get your plant from?

Very beautiful Laura! Make sure there's no red foxes around. They have a tendency to ruin everything!
