basic help - growing 2 different peppers

hey all,

i've been growing my habanero and ghost chili plants next to each other. i have ZERO experience gardening and this is my first attempt.

the plants are very close to each other, some branches occasionally brush up against each other. there have been many peppers sprouting on both plants.

did i mess up by keeping them so close? will my peppers not be true habaneros and ghost chilies, but hybrids?
