I've considered using a heating pad set on low in the past but have always gone with the kind made specifically for plants or reptile cages. I'm afraid that it might be a fire hazard because it would be on 24/7. I'd be interested to hear if anyone has used a regular heating pad or blanket. They are certainly less expensive.

I too am going to try using an electric blanket for a bottom heat source.I only plan on using it during my waking hours.Since plumeria cuttings require so little water I don't think that will be a problem.I have 75+cuttings potted now and another 50 coming in next week.I am really interested in how this works for you.Don't forget to use grow lights.DJ
