Their disease resistance isn't any worse or better then their larger cousins. Disease resistance starts with growing them properly with adequate drainage, proper sunlight and good air circulation. It also depends on what diseases are more prevelant in your area. In the south, because of the heat coupled with humidity, blackspot is a major problem. In drier areas (Arizona, some parts of California etc), blackspot is almost non-existant. That's why you may hear different opinions about the disease resistance of the same rose. Also please note the words are disease resistant, not disease free. Minis that I've found to be very disease resistant for me are: Gourmet Popcorn, Magic Carousel, June Laver and Rainbow's end. I don't have a lot of experience with minis, but have grown 6 Sweet Dianas (yellow-gold). It has been disease-free so far. Very attractive--visitors always comment on it.

For spring I have ordered Green Ice (white with hint of green). A number of forum members assured me it was as lovely and disease-resistant as the descriptions in the catalogs claim it is. I'm really looking forward to planting it this year.

Try Rise n Shine for a yellow. Blooms a lot and although it will get blackspot (just resistant) it springs back quickly. My sister grew this and she never sprayed.
