I'm usually on the other forum but yesterday my mom brought me a micro mini...how do I care for it?

My rose garden has areas of dappled sunlight. I'd like to repot it and place it out there. Is this okay?

Or,is this like having a chihuahua; gotta stay indoors and just looks like a dog? (Don't send me hate mail, we have a chihuahua!)
