This particular slate was called "earth" at my local supplier. Unfortunately there are so many names I do not know if that will translate over to your area. I would definitely advise that you put your eye on the exact material your purchasing as slate has significant color variations per pallet load.

Wouldn't the homeowner get "cold" in an open shower like that? Especially if its open on the top?

Hey there. Surprisingly using an open shower is not bad at all. This particular shower has several shower heads which allows the home owners to control how much water they want to bathe under. i personally have an open shower and it does take some getting used to but it is by no means uncomfortable during use.
